Taylor Swift started the European leg of her Eras Tour today with her first performance in Paris. Missing from the audience was Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, who was also not seen in Paris before the concert. However, there is a good reason for his absence.

Travis is currently filming the horror series Ryan Murphy grotesque on the west coast. He was photographed yesterday on set in Pomona, California, with darker dyed hair.

Details about his exact role and the premise of the series have not yet been announced.

But today, Taylor was on Travis’ mind. The Kansas City tight end liked and commented on an Instagram account shared by Taylor’s lead guitarist Paul Sidoti before the show began. “@taylorswift The Eras Tour Europe kicks off tonight. Paris, you’re first up. Who’s coming? 😊🎸👍🏻 #theerastour #4inarow,” Paul wrote. Travis commented, “Lfg!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 (let’s get the fuck going)”

Travis spoke in early April about joining Taylor at some of her shows in Europe. He said Entertainment tonight“She’s going to be touring all over Europe. There won’t be a bad show, I promise you.” On his plans to go with her, he added: “Oh, you know I have to go as the opening act. You know it.”

Travis raved about Taylor’s influence on him and his taste in music in the same interview. “She’s so incredible at what she does,” he said. “And discovering that creativity, seeing where she likes to get things from and just the way she listens to music is very eye-opening for me. It’s been fun to hear her take on it.”
