If you’re heading to downtown Kansas City for Wednesday’s Super Bowl parade, you’ll have to think about parking.
The Chiefs won their second consecutive Super Bowl by defeating the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime on Sunday, meaning the city will host its third championship parade since 2020.
Fans arriving to the festivities by car should be aware that parking restrictions will be in place from 11 a.m. Tuesday through Wednesday evening. Temporary no-parking zones will be established and vehicles parked there will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Cars parked on the highways surrounding the city center will also be towed. Those whose vehicles have been towed can call: 816-513-0688 for the locations.
Most parking lots along the parade route have a metered parking lot, including the National WWI Museum and Memorial, Union Station, and Crown Center. Visit their websites for more information.
