Things are looking up in the city of bridges.
After an impressive 10-7 performance in 2023, the Pittsburgh Steelers strengthened their roster in the offseason, signing newly announced starting quarterback Russell Wilson and backup Justin Fields.
“I’m super excited,” Super Bowl winner Wilson said at a small press conference on Wednesday. “I came here to help us win, that’s my focus. The best part is how hard we all worked every day, from OTAs to Latrobe.”
Although Mike Tomlin’s team had a tough preseason – the “Men of Steel” lost 0-3 to the strong Texans, Bills and Lions – Wilson is expected to make his first start in Week 1 and 2024 Pro Bowlers TJ Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Miles Killebrew are returning, as is star wide receiver George Pickens.
The “steel curtain” always has its good sides.

These include key games against the Cowboys (Oct. 6), Ravens (Nov. 17) and a Christmas game against the Chiefs, who will win the 2024 Super Bowl, on Christmas Day.

You can watch Tomlin’s team on select dates on ABC, CBS, ESPN, Fox, NBC and the NFL Network.
During the regular season, most AFC games are broadcast on CBS.
