Virginia Credit Union Board of Directors Appoints New Executives

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, Aug. 29, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Virginia Credit Union (VACU) Board of Directors has welcomed new members following its successful merger with Roanoke-based Member One Federal Credit Union on Aug. 1.

Penny Hodge and Matt Huff have joined the board as directors. Tyler Caveness will serve as an associate director. All three previously served on the board of directors at Member One Federal Credit Union. They began serving on the VACU board on August 1.

“We recognize the importance of this merger and the trust that Member One members have placed in us,” noted VACU Board Chairman Kenneth E. Ampy. “Through the merger, we gain not only the trusted and talented employees of Member One, but also the leadership of Penny, Matt and Tyler. They will bring their individual talents, their extensive knowledge of their members and communities, and their connections to local community, business and government leaders.”
