While many other athletes in Missouri are working to become more competitive in their respective sports, the swimming and diving teams are also stepping in and building their rosters.
Two-time Olympic qualifier Brandon Loschiavo was introduced as Missouri’s new diving coach. He brings three years of coaching experience, most recently as a volunteer assistant coach for Purdue.
“Brandon brings an incredible breadth of experience to diving,” explained Kyle Bogner, Mizzou diving head coach. “Not only is his athletic experience relevant, but Brandon has also studied the sport for many years. From strength and conditioning to nutrition and mental performance, he has a holistic approach and is able to look at every aspect of what it takes to be a champion and apply that in a training environment. We are thrilled to have Brandon here at Zou!”
Loschiavo has competed in the last two Olympic Games, finishing 17th in the 10-meter platform diving event in Paris this summer and 11th in the 2020 Tokyo Games.
