Two people accused of driving into Montgomery County patrol arrested after overnight search – KXEO

On August 22, 2024, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office officers attempted to stop a gray passenger vehicle traveling westbound on North Service Road near McDonald’s in New Florence.

The vehicle could not stop and accelerated, whereupon the officers began a high-speed chase.

The suspect vehicle turned north onto Deer Road and officers continued the pursuit, following the thick dust trail it left behind.

Near the end of Deer Road, the suspect’s vehicle turned around and headed south on Deer Road toward pursuing officers.

The suspect’s vehicle appeared through the cloud of dust and drove straight toward the officers.

The vehicle skidded and collided with the front of a patrol car, which was then disabled. Fortunately, the patrol car was unharmed.

The suspect vehicle then continued back toward North Service Road and onto Interstate 70 West at a high rate of speed.

The pursuit ended at the 154-mile marker when the vehicle stopped and two suspects fled on foot.

Officers from the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol immediately established a perimeter around the area where the suspects were last seen.

The Callaway County canine unit and a drone were deployed to assist in locating the suspects.

The search lasted all night and into this morning.
On August 23, 2024, at approximately 9:56 a.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received information that the suspects had been located and arrested by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The suspects, identified as Jessica D. Price, a 33-year-old
A woman from St. Charles, Missouri, and Harrell E. Raby, a 36-year-old man from Truesdale, Missouri, were taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

Harrell E. Raby has warrants for his arrest in several jurisdictions, including Hawk Point, Missouri for speeding and driving while suspended; Eureka, Missouri for speeding and failure to display a driver’s license; Cottleville, Missouri for failure to register a motor vehicle, lack of financial responsibility, and speeding 26-30 miles per hour; and Jefferson County for driving while suspended, reckless and careless driving, and another traffic violation.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has charged Raby with resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Jessica D. Price was also charged with resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident and assault on a police officer.
