Uncapped Ajax youngster Ahmetcan Kaplan and former Juventus player Merih Demiral, who now plays in Saudi Arabia, are on the bench, but Fenerbahce’s Ferdi Kadioglu, who was linked with Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer market, is in the starting line-up.
Things aren’t looking much better in attack. Enes Ünal, Cengiz Ün and Umut Nayir are all injured. Arda Güler from Real Madrid and Kenan Yildiz from Juventus start in attack.
For Georgia, defender Solomon Kvirkvelia was able to play from the start despite an injury, but midfielder Otar Kiteishvili is only on the bench.
Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the underdog’s biggest threat, but 23-year-old Metz striker Georges Mikautadze should also be kept an eye on.
