Tallahassee, FL – Severe thunderstorms are expected in the Tallahassee area and the greater Florida Big Bend region today. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Tallahassee, there is a slight risk (level 1 of 5) for severe thunderstorms that could bring isolated destructive wind gusts, dangerous lightning and small hail.
The current weather forecast is for temperatures to reach 34°C today, with a 50% chance of thunderstorms. Stormy conditions are expected to continue into the evening, increasing the risk of localized damage and travel disruption.
Throughout the week, Tallahassee will experience a range of weather patterns. Tuesday and Wednesday will see sunny skies with highs of 93°F. However, stormy conditions will return Thursday and Friday with a 35% to 40% chance of rain and highs in the 90°F range. By Saturday, the storms should subside, giving way to partly cloudy skies and slightly cooler temperatures in the 90°F range.
