Plans have been submitted for a new trampoline park in a shopping centre in Lincoln. Bounce Central owner James Fearn has submitted an application proposing that the former Halfords store in the Carlton Centre could become a trampoline park and indoor activity centre.
Halfords closed its doors at the Carlton Centre in November 2023 and the unit has been empty since then. Bounce Central, which already has sites in Salford and Bolton, is a trampoline park company that also offers soft play sessions and fitness classes.
Plans have been submitted to Lincoln City Council for the installation of two signs that would replace Halfords with the colourful Bounce Central logo. Bounce Central’s current sites each have over 65 trampolines and Jurassic Jungle soft play areas, as well as on-site cafes.

The Salford location has 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor. A recent reviewer said: “Excellent party for our daughter, beautifully organised and Kaysha couldn’t do enough for us. Everyone had so much fun including the parents. Thank you for being so warm, friendly and professional. We will definitely be back and recommending you.”
Another wrote: “This place is amazing. I took my daughter there on a weekday where they had a fantastic offer. Two hours at the trampoline park cost £10.95 and lunch for my daughter was included in the price too.”
“The food was great, my daughter had fish fingers, chips and beans (a toddler favourite) and I had a piri piri chicken wrap which was absolutely delicious and way above the standard I would expect from a cafe in a venue like this. Overall the venue is clean, safe and loads of fun and I would highly recommend it.”
