SNAP benefits of up to $1,751 in 4 states through August 20, not including the 2025 COLA increase
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will send food stamps through August 28, 2024. However, some recipients will not have to wait that long because their states will send money to EBT cards through August 20, 2024.
This is the case in 4 states. They are New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee and WashingtonFor example, SNAP recipients in the state of New Mexico only need to know which digit ends their Social Security number.
SNAP benefits in New Mexico
New Mexicans receiving food stamps in August and whose Social Security number ends in 06, 26, 46, 66, 86 will receive their money on their Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card on August 12.
- social security Numbers ending in 17, 37, 57, 77, 97 = food stamp payment on the 13th.
- Social Security number ends with: 07, 27, 47, 67, 87 = food stamp payment on 14.
- Social Security number ends in 18, 38, 58, 78, 98 = food stamp payment on 15.
- Social Security number ends with 08, 28, 48, 68, 88 = food stamp payment on 16.
- Social Security number ends in 19, 39, 59, 79, 99 = food stamp payment on 17.
- Social Security number ends in 09, 29, 49, 69, 89 = food stamp payment on 18.
- Social Security number ends in 10, 30, 50, 70, 90 = food stamp payment on 19.
- Social Security number ends with 00, 20, 40, 60, 80 = food stamp payment on the 20th.
SNAP Paydays and Eligibility in Tennessee
This state relies on the last two digits of the head of household Social Security Number too. So if your last two digits are 55-59, you will receive money deposited to your EBT card on August 12th.
- 60-64 = Benefits available on the 13th of the month
- 65-69 = Food stamps are sent on the 14th of the month
- 70-74 = Food stamps are sent on the 15th of the month
- 75-79 = Food stamps are sent on the 16th of the month
- 80-84 = Food stamps are sent on the 17th of the month
- 85-89 = Food stamps are sent on the 18th of the month
- 90-94 = Food stamps are sent on the 19th of the month
- 95-99 = Food stamps are sent on the 19th of the month
Ohio uses the last digit of the beneficiary’s case number. Example: to receive SNAP benefits on December 12.Your case number must end in 5. Or 6 on the 13th and so on.
