With a groundbreaking ceremony on August 7 in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico, Sinoboom officially launched its new Mexican manufacturing project.
The factory will cover a total area of 186,667 square meters and has been designed from the outset for smart manufacturing. It features automated equipment for processes such as welding, painting and assembly, as well as intelligent monitoring systems to enable streamlined production with consistent high quality. Equipment produced at the facility includes slab and rough terrain scissor lifts, articulating and telescopic boom lifts, telehandlers, vertical mast lifts and other products from the Sinoboom range. Annual production is estimated to reach 20,000 units by 2028.
In line with Sinoboom’s principles, the factory has been designed to have the lowest possible impact on the environment. Measures include minimised emissions from processes such as coating, which uses recyclable, VOC-free powders.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by representatives of the local government, the industrial park management, distributors and customers, contractors and Sinoboom’s Mexican team. Carlos García Villaseñor, Mayor of Silao, Ramón Alfaro Gómez, Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy of the State of Guanajuato, and Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, Governor of Guanajuato, delivered speeches in which they warmly welcomed Sinoboom and looked forward to future cooperation.
