There were rumors that Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster were in a standoff over where they would live.
Rod Stewart has corrected rumors that there was a rift between him and Penny Lancaster because they disagreed about where they should live.
On social media, Rod wrote: “Despite erroneous articles in the Daily Mail and other tabloids following suit.
“We wanted to make things clear. There is absolutely no argument between Penny and me and no disagreement about where we should live, on the contrary.
“We returned permanently to our beloved Britain a year ago, but are fortunate to have homes in other countries that we enjoy visiting.
“We originally thought it would make sense to sell our home in LA, but after having a wonderful time with family and friends while I was in Vegas this summer, we realized it made sense to keep our home there.
“Two of my oldest children still live at Celtic House (the LA residence).”
The singer added: “Penny and I couldn’t be more in love after 27 wonderful years. Please trust me… there is no disharmony in our marriage.”
He signed the message, “Rod, a very lucky man, Stewart.”
