PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – According to reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers may have to do without the services of center Nate Herbig for the entire upcoming season due to injury.
According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the experienced center is suffering from a torn rotator cuff.
The rotator cuff injury could potentially result in Herbig being out for the entire season.
Rookie Center Zach Frazier was already convincing at the beginning and is now expected to take Herbig’s place in the starting eleven.
Jaylen Warren is battling a thigh injury
According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Steelers running back is expected to be out for “several weeks” after suffering a hamstring injury on Saturday night. Preseason defeat against the Bills.
According to Pelissero, Warren’s status and availability for the team’s opening game against Atlanta are currently uncertain.
Monday is a day off for the Steelers players. They return to the South Side on Tuesday, where we could get an update on the status of Warren and Herbig from head coach Mike Tomlin.
