The Nebraska football team has unveiled a new uniform for their upcoming game week. The Huskers unveiled their new alternate black jerseys on X that they plan to wear in their game against Omaha on Thursday.
The third jersey is part of Nebraska’s blackout theme for the game against the Mavericks. It also has red stripes on the sleeves and red stripes on the sides, while the word NEBRASKA is written on the chest, accompanying the black jersey. The goalies also received third uniforms, a light blue striped jersey.
Nebraska welcomes Omaha and Creighton to Lincoln this week. The Huskers face the Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon and the motto is “Red Out,” which likely indicates that Nebraska will wear its red jersey for the game.
Kickoff for Thursday’s match is scheduled for 7:05 p.m., while Sunday’s match is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Both games will be streamed on B1G+.
