Nebraska football released its roster for its season opener against UTEP on Monday. The special teams roster includes both familiar and new players.
That included Rahmir Johnson, who returned to Nebraska for his final season. He was listed as a potential kick returner alongside freshman Jacory Barney. Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda and Barney will also handle punt return duties.
Brian Buschini will return as punter for Nebraska, providing continuity and stability to the team. Buschini hopes to return to his old form after struggling with injuries and inconsistency last season.
