Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola was recently named one of the college football rookies effective immediately for the 2024 season. USA TODAY’s Paul Myerberg recently included the Husker quarterback on his list of “10 college football rookies who will make an immediate impact this season.”

Matt Rhule hasn’t officially named Raiola the Cornhuskers’ starter yet, but that’s only a matter of time. His arrival on campus in the spring has helped the Nebraska product learn the system and establish himself as one of the most intriguing young players in college football.
Nebraska’s offense will need to improve on their performance in 2023. Last year, they ranked 115th in the nation in total offense and averaged a paltry 312.8 yards per game. They also struggled with scoring, ranking 120th overall and averaging just 18.0 points per game.
During Nebraska’s spring game, Raiola completed 16 of 22 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns. The full list from Paul Meyerberg is below.

EDGE Dylan Stewart, South Carolina Gamecocks
A five-star edge rusher from Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington, D.C. Finished the 2023 season with 76 tackles, 24.0 for loss and 12 sacks.
Five-star wide receiver from Lake Belton High School in Temple, Texas. Finished his final season catching 70 passes for 1,370 yards and 18 touchdowns.
