MTA and BPD respond to Madison Avenue shooting

On August 17, at approximately 11:05 p.m., Western District officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Madison Avenue to investigate a call of a reported shooting.

While on scene, officers learned that Baltimore Police and police in the area heard gunshots and observed an unidentified man with gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition.

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, homicide detectives arrived at the crime scene.
