Kim Kardashian made the best of a bad situation.
On the weekend The Kardashians Star celebrated her birthday after turning 42 on Friday.
In her Instagram story, Kim documented her plans to dine at Carbone with a group of friends and family and watch Usher perform in Las Vegas, but the plan was thwarted by the city’s dangerous weather conditions, which included wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
“The plane couldn’t land due to the wind so it looks like our Carbone party and @usher concert are off and we have to head home,” the SKIMS mogul explained in a post.

Kim later reiterated in a follow-up post to her story that her birthday celebrations did not go quite according to plan.
“Just to clarify, we flew to Vegas and tried to land twice at two different airports. And it was too dangerous so safety took priority and we flew home,” she wrote.
The mother of four also revealed that LaLa Anthony flew from New York City to Las Vegas to surprise her and that she had “FOMO” – also known as “fear of missing out” – when Anthony attended the Usher concert anyway and sent her videos.
