George Nathan Malcom, age 90, of Monroe, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. A private memorial service for the family will be held.
Nathan was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served his country honorably and retired from Westinghouse.
He is predeceased by his parents Virgil and Frances (Hester) Malcom, sister Emily Williams and sister-in-law Marsha Malcom. Nathan is survived by his beloved wife Carol Malcom of Monroe, daughter Julie (Jeff) Gattis of Monroe, sons Jonathan (Kim) Malcom of Monroe and Jeremy (Jennifer) Malcom of Sandy Springs, stepsons Adam (Jill) Brown of Monroe and Tim (Suzy) Brown of Covington, brothers Olin Malcom of Good Hope and Lynn Malcom of Good Hope, sister Marie (Ronal) Peters of Monroe, brother Randy (Regina) Malcom of Good Hope, 8 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
