The Georgia Bulldogs have lost the commitment of four-star defensive line recruit Christian Garrett. Garrett’s withdrawal is a major blow to the Bulldogs, as he was Georgia’s top-ranked defensive line recruit.

Now Georgia has 22 total commitments for the class of 2025. The Bulldogs have the third-best recruiting class in the SEC. A recent surge from Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers has helped LSU overtake Georgia in the recruiting rankings.

The Alabama Crimson Tide continue to have the best recruiting class in the SEC in the first year of the Kalen DeBoer era. There’s still a long way to go before the class of 2025, but DeBoer was a threat on the recruiting circuit early in his career at Alabama.

The SEC has six of the top seven recruiting classes in the country. The SEC is the best recruiting conference in college football.
