Culver City’s Summer Festival returns this weekend, August 23-25, at Veterans Memorial Park. The annual event features live performances, rides and games, a beer and wine garden, food trucks, and a vendor village where local groups and artisans showcase their wares. This year, there will also be a kids’ zone and sensory area.

Admission is FREE! Carnival Ride wristbands are available for pre-sale until Thursday evening at 9:00 p.m.

Aquacade – Take a break from the heat at the Culver City Municipal Pool and immerse yourself in recreational activities and a dive-in screening of Lilo & Stitch on Friday at 8:30 p.m. The screening is packed, but walk-ins are allowed as space allows. Entertainment – Free live entertainment will be offered on the main stage throughout the Fiesta weekend. Experience a wide variety of genres with plenty of room to dance! Check out the full three-page entertainment schedule.

Safety, parking and transport – The City of Culver City will have a formal security protocol this year. The event will have two entrances, both equipped with metal detectors and bag checks. Doors will open 30 minutes prior. The main entrance is on Culver Boulevard, with a second entrance on Barman Avenue.

Participants are encouraged to by bike, on foot or by bus to the event to avoid parking problems. Free parking is available at the Sony Entertainment Overland Parking Structure on Overland Avenue and Palm Court Way between Washington Boulevard and Culver Boulevard. Parking is located on levels 2 through 5, with accessible parking available near the elevators on each level. Parking garage restrooms are located on level P-1. Limited accessible parking is also available in Lot #3 in Veterans Memorial Park.

The shuttle will operate this year on Friday, August 23rd (4:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.), Saturday, August 24th (11 a.m. – 11 p.m.), and Sunday, August 25th (11 a.m. – 9 p.m.). The pick-up/drop-off zone will be located in the Sony Pictures Studios Garage and Fiesta attendees will be transported to and from Parking Lot #4 adjacent to the Veterans Memorial Park Playground.

Bike Culver City offers secure bike parking for visitors who come to the celebration by bike. The bike parking entrance is located near the Culver Boulevard entrance.

Culver CityBus will provide bike racks on board to encourage biking and public transportation use. For information on how to get to the event by bus, call (310) 253-6500 or online.

The Culver City Downtown Circulator provides shuttle service to and from Veterans Memorial Park.

Pets- Pets are not allowed at Veterans Memorial Park and only ADA compliant, trained service dogs are allowed.

Fun is not mandatory, but Fun is allowed throughout the park. Please share your fun with friends and neighbors and include everyone you meet.
