In July, General Motors unveiled the all-new, redesigned 2025 Cadillac Escalade. Although it was just a facelift, the parent company was extremely generous in terms of upgrades and updates both inside and out.

In fact, you now have much more choice than ever before when buying a Caddy Escalade – with short or long wheelbase, with or without the V-Series extras and with ICE or EV Power under the hood. In August, however, there was no more good news from General Motors, as the popular Duramax engine was discontinued – the company dropped the 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel engine from the full-size model. Off-road vehicle Lineup starting this month.

Well, when there’s bad news, that’s a rival’s opportunity to shine, right? Ford Motor Company probably thought so, and immediately unveiled the all-new 2025 Lincoln Navigator – and “the vehicle that founded the premium full-size SUV category nearly three decades ago is once again elevating it to new heights.” Although the fourth-generation Lincoln Navigator has only been on the market since 2018, and this year was most likely the right time for a mid-cycle refresh, FoMoCo decided to treat us to the fifth iteration instead.

The latest products obviously inspire the range’s design and will pair well with the all-new 2025 Lincoln Nautilus or the redesigned 2025 Aviator SUVs. We should expect the new version in showrooms next spring, right behind the updated 2025 Caddy Escalade, and so far the only powertrain option for the giant SUV is the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that delivers 440 hp and 510 lb-ft or 691 Nm of torque through a ten-speed automatic transmission and All-wheel drive.

With no pricing details yet and no engines left to play with, the parallel universes of vehicle CGI have decided to bridge the waiting time with some help from the imaginative realm of digital car content creators. Specifically, Nikita Chuicko, the virtual artist better known as Subscribe on social media, believes that now is the right CGI time to work on the redesigned 2025 Lincoln Navigator – while it’s still fresh.

While the all-new SUV rides on 22-inch wheels as standard and can be upgraded to 24-inch OEM wheels for the first time like the Caddy Escalade, the pixel master gives it new contrasting black aftermarket wheels that look even bigger (at least 26 inches, if you want our opinion on the CGI matter). And to make it look even cooler, the ride height has been slightly reduced thanks to a lowered suspension.

What do you think? Does the all-new 2025 Lincoln Navigator stand a chance against the thoroughly redesigned 2025 Caddy Escalade, especially when it already comes with so many options?
