Buffalo Bills Betting Preview
Last year, Buffalo had a pretty good run that ended in a bitter postseason. The Bills finished 11-6 overall and won the AFC East title along the way. In their fifth consecutive playoff appearance, Buffalo defeated the Steelers in the Wild Card Playoffs before losing to the Chiefs 27-24 in the Divisional Playoffs.
In their first preseason game, the Bills faced the Chicago Bears. Buffalo trailed 13-6 in the fourth quarter, but then allowed 20 points and lost 33-6. Quarterback Josh Allen completed two of his three passes for 22 yards and Frank Gore Jr. ran for 21 yards on seven carries.
Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview
On the Steelers’ side, they posted an overall record of 10-7 in 2023. That would put Pittsburgh in third place in the competitive AFC North, but it was also enough for a wild card spot (and a loss to the Bills in that game). However, that gives Pittsburgh a 20-consecutive undefeated record.
Last week, the Steelers trailed the Texans 17-0 at halftime in their preseason opener. Pittsburgh improved from there, but still lost 20-12. QB Kyle Allen rushed for 193 yards with a TD and a pick. Daijun Edwards ran three times for 28 yards and scored a touchdown of his own.

Prediction for Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
I’m probably leaning towards the Steelers here. However, preseason games are always a matter of pure luck. Pittsburgh managed 344 yards of offense (235 passes) and 6.0 yards per play in its loss to Houston. The Steelers were not spectacular on third and fourth downs (2 of 10 combined) and committed two turnovers.
Pittsburgh allowed the fifth-fewest points in the league last year, but also scored the fifth-fewest. Offense will be a focus this year, and there’s hope Russell Wilson can be the answer — at least temporarily. It’s going to be an interesting season no matter what happens.
