Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 17th at 6pm at 701 BC Venue & Brewery for the Madison County Chamber of Commerce’s Best of Madison event. Throughout the evening, local restaurants will serve appetizers while guests bid on Made in Madison items in the silent auction, followed by the Best of Madison Awards presentation.
Tickets for the Best of Madison event can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce office or online at www.madisonfl.org for $35 or $30 for six-ticket packages.
The Madison County Chamber of Commerce recognizes outstanding Chamber members, individuals and businesses in our community and the many achievements to celebrate in our community.
Awards for Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Best Company in Customer Service, Best Individual in Customer Service, New Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Nonprofit of the Year.
Recipients of these awards are nominated and voted for by members of our community and represent the best of our community. The awards are for Chamber members who reflect the highest level of professionalism, knowledge, integrity, community responsibility, and investment in the future of business and growth in Madison.
Nominations can be submitted Friday, August 2 through Tuesday, August 20 on our website at www.madisonfl.org. Qualified nominees will be announced Monday, September 16. Cast your vote for the nominees to be included in the top 10 in each category by 5 p.m. Thursday, September 12. Voting for the top 10 begins Monday, September 16. Help us honor the best of Madison by selecting your favorite among the top 10 nominees in each category by 5 p.m. Friday, September 29. Winners will be announced at the Best of Madison Awards on Thursday, October 17.

Small Business of the Year
• Chamber member for at least 1 year
• Businesses within the city or county limits of Madison with 25 or fewer employees. Excellent customer service
• Demonstrates growth and stability
• Growth through sales and job creation
• Has a positive impact on the community
Large Company of the Year
• Chamber member for at least 1 year
• Businesses within the city or county limits of Madison with 26 or more employees
• Excellent customer service
• Demonstrates growth and stability
• Excellent community relations and reliability
• Growth through sales and job creation
• Demonstrates economic support for the region. Has a positive impact on the community and employee volunteerism.
Young Professional of the Year
• Must be the owner of a Chamber member or have been employed by a Chamber member for at least 1 year
• Professionals under 35 who have made a positive impact on their industry and continue to be committed to community service, civic engagement and economic development.
Award for the best company in customer service
• Chamber member for at least 1 year
• Company that specializes in serving customers and clients.
•Demonstrates consistent high-quality service and courtesy in the community
Award for the best individual in customer service
• Must be the owner of a Chamber member or have been employed by a Chamber member for at least 1 year
• Person dedicated to customer and client service.
• Consistently demonstrates high quality service and courtesy in the community
New Business of the Year
• Is a Chamber member who demonstrates a commitment to customer service.
• Provides excellent customer service
• Demonstrates growth and stability
• Has a positive impact on the community
Citizen of the Year
• Madison County resident who has positively impacted and contributed to the community through leadership, civic engagement, volunteerism and general public service.
• Chamber membership not required
Nonprofit Organization of the Year
• Chamber member for at least 1 year
• Certified 501(c)3 organization with a proven track record of making a significant impact on improving the quality of life of others in the community.
• Religious organization or non-profit organization
